Happy Meditation Monday friends 💗 Let's start out this beautiful week with our eyes on God.
Find hope in today's passage that we are blessed by God in our weaknesses because it's then that He shines through all the more and can show His power in what we can't do! Amen.
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:9
Come back on Friday as we dive more into 2 Corinthians 12 on #FaithFriday.

Hey friends, it's Testimony Tuesday!
Today we get the pleasure of hearing Shannon Hansen's love story with God and how her mom set the stage for her strong faith. We also cover the topic of talking to your kids about sex which I think is so important and often overlooked! I loved hearing how Shannon's mom set the foundation of faith so strongly in their home, even normalizing a taboo topic.
If you have any issues with your thyroid, I highly recommend checking out Shannon's podcast the Thriving Thyroid and connecting with her on Instagram or her website! Links below!

Today we are so busy, jumping from one task to the next, that we become burned out. We are short tempered with others, we are too busy to actually live, we are running on empty. We charge our phones, we fill up our cars. What about us?
We need to be recharged and filled up too. But not in the world's way. Not with Netflix and alcohol, food and sex. It’s that God-shaped hole friends.
Take care of yourself by filling up with God’s truth. That truly is how you can take care of others. Connect with God and refresh your spirit. Slow down so you can hear from Him. Turn your eyes and heart to Jesus. I want Jesus to overflow from me so that means I have to fill myself up with Jesus.
It’s so important to take care of yourself in the care of God. That’s what Jesus was doing. He wasn’t alone. He was with His Father.
Take the 40 day challenge! Put your time with God first for 40 days. 40 represents a time of testing in the Bible. Every day for 40 days, have your quiet time with God. Be intentional about it. Don’t just check it off the list.
Two requirements:
- Pray, just talk to God. God I’m here, I’m willing to listen to your voice.
- Read your Bible. I have a 40-day Bible reading plan for you that will take you through the Gospels - Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
