What does it actually mean to find your identity in Christ? Today Kristin Fields Chadwick is with me on the podcast talking about that very topic because as Christians we say it a lot, but what does it mean and how do we do it?
I really wanted to have this conversation with Kristin because she's had some incredible encounters with God as she's discovered Him and her identity in Him.
We discuss Kristin's course, The Heavenly Commission, throughout this episode because it's all about helping us find our identity in Christ. I've personally walked through this course and it's been so powerful for me so I wanted to share that with all of you! You can learn more about it or sign up here:

Friends, I am so heartbroken to give you this update. My sweet friend Stephany, who we have been praying for, went to be with Jesus last Wednesday. She was only 30 years old and she fought hard until the end. Please pray for her husband Jayson and babies, Aliyah and Devyn. If you are able to, please donate as any relief for this family would be so appreciated.

Friends, I am so excited for my first Wellness Wednesday guest! Stephanie Hodges is here to talk about her new book Daniel Fast Journey: A Fasting Breakthrough for Physical Health, Mental Clarity and Spiritual Growth.
I mean, who doesn't want that kind of breakthrough?! Sign me up 🙋🏽♀️ I absolutely LOVED our conversation and I am so inspired. This is something I'll be praying over if we should do as a community!
Visit her website danielfastjourney.com for more resources on the Daniel Fast! Learn more about her book below.
Do you want to go deeper in your relationship with God, but you’re intimidated by the idea of fasting?
In order to live your life to the full, it's essential to thrive in your spiritual and physical health. Fasting is an ancient discipline that touches every element of spirit, soul, and body and can lead to lasting change and life transformation.
If you want to start fasting, or make fasting a more regular discipline in your life, the Daniel Fast is a great step for you. Through this partial fast, you’ll grow closer to God as you nourish your body with wholesome and nutritious plant-based foods. As you clear the noise and junk from your system, and lean into God and listen for His direction, you will become spiritually full, mentally well, and physically energized.

I encourage you to read Matthew 6:25-34 this week, where part of our meditation comes from. The point of this passage is that God wants to provide all of our needs, He wants us to rely on Him but we still have unbelief and lack of trust, we are still trying to rely on ourselves. Stop running, turn around and give it all to God.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

[51] Habits of the world's longest living people - Wellness Wednesday
Wednesday Jan 20, 2021
Wednesday Jan 20, 2021
Have you ever heard of The Blue Zones? It's a research study studying the habits of the world's longest living people.
The study found 5 pockets of people around the world with the highest life expectancy, or with the highest proportions of people who reach age 100. Those places are:
- Barbagia region of Sardinia – Mountainous highlands of inner Sardinia with the world’s highest concentration of male centenarians.
- Ikaria, Greece – Aegean Island with one of the world’s lowest rates of middle age mortality and the lowest rates of dementia.
- Nicoya Peninsula, Costa Rica – World’s lowest rates of middle age mortality, second highest concentration of male centenarians.
- Seventh Day Adventists – Highest concentration is around Loma Linda, California. They live 10 years longer than their North American counterparts.
- Okinawa, Japan – Females over 70 are the longest-lived population in the world.
They looked for common denominators among these people to learn how others could adopt their lifestyles in order to live longer, healthier lives. They found 9 Lifestyle habits within 4 categories:
1. Move Naturally (movement)
2. Purpose (right outlook)
3. Downshift (right outlook)
4. 80% rule (eat wisely)
5. Lots of plants (eat wisely)
6. Wine (eat wisely)
7. Belong (connection)
8. Loved ones first (connection)
9. Right tribe (connection)
Listen in to learn more about each of these habits. You can learn more at www.bluezones.com, where I researched this episode.
